Rob started in veterinary medicine in high school as kennel help and technician.  He worked in three different animal hospitals through high school and college, two in Chicago and one in California. Rob received his Biology degree from the University of Illinois, and started in veterinary sales in 1982.  In 1984, he began his career in veterinary dermatology sales with Allerderm (now Virbac).  He's been involved in four veterinary startups (five if you include a new market for a veterinary distributor).  Three of the startups are veterinary dermatology focused. Rob has been actively involved with members and activities of the ACVD since 1984.

 

When Rob's not working, he loves to be on boats, riding Indian motorcycles, and traveling. Rambo is his Abyssinian cat.
